The Law Offices of Brian D. Watnick & Associates was established by Mr. Watnick in 2005. Mr. Watnick has been practicing Workers' Compensation Defense since 1990. He has been a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law* since 1996. His experience is diverse, having represented large corporations, insurance companies, small local employers, school districts and local governmental entities. He has familiarity with all aspects of the rapidly changing and complex Workers' Compensation litigation. From his many years practicing in this area of law, Mr. Watnick has become acquainted with the different attorneys and physicians that can impact the direction of a particular case.

Mr. Watnick's clients appreciate his availability and his personal attention to the matters entrusted to his firm.

Mr. Watnick obtained his Juris Doctor and Masters in Business Administration from University of California, Davis in 1987.

Jennifer DeLaine is a paralegal who has over 33 years of experience exclusively devoted to Workers' Compensation defense. She began her career in the Legal Department of State Compensation Insurance Fund while in high school in the youth-aid program. Upon passing her State testing, she advanced her classification to Legal Support Secretary. After departing State Fund, she began her journey in the private sector as a legal secretary, paralegal and then office supervisor responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an office of approximately nine attorneys and ten support staff. Jennifer is thorough, quick-thinking, patient, detailed oriented and an asset to the firm.

Drew DeLaine is our litigation/mediator with almost a decade of experience in this field, with extensive negotiating and resolution skills. Drew is constantly continuing his legal training and is a LDA (Legal Document Assistant) in the fields of workers’ compensation, family law and civil litigation. This allows him to work hand in hand with the attorneys in our firm to produce the best results for our clients. We are proud to have Drew as part of our team.
